Custom made is a phrase that we would all like to be able to use when defining something we own. Custom made usually means made especially for us. Custom labels are a way for others to see that we put time, money, and effort into our custom emblems, clothing tags, clothing labels, or patches. We long to flaunt our custom made suits, or tailored dresses, or custom made shoes and even jewelry. Custom labeling is the way we can show off our excellent taste and maybe a little bit of our extravagance, but what if we have excellent taste and no extravagance, what then?
Custom label making is an idea that I came up with in order to save face whenever I would like to go out and feel sort of special, in a way that maybe others might think a little odd. I love custom suits and custom labels. I have always adorned clothing tags with the most famous designer’s names written on them, with silk embroidered script I might add, but recently I just haven’t had the finances to fund my expensive designer label habit and so I buy off the rack in department stores now, but I don’t have to go without my designer custom labels.
Researching online I discovered there is a world of custom label makers out there willing to sew labels, custom patches, clothing labels, and clothing tags onto materials for a nominal price. All I would have to do is hire these US manufacturers of custom patches to sew labels with any materials, names, or scripts I ask for; they even have silk embroidery, PVC labels, rubber labels, and even ecofriendly labels as well. Right away I decided to order my custom labels; some they would sew onto my clothing and others I would sew on myself, but my, what a relief it was to know that I would still be able to flaunt my "DonnaKaran" cashmere sweater, and my "Armani" denim.
I never thought of myself as a sewer and now I have become my own custom label maker. I still have US manufacturers of custom patches sew onto my favorite outfits the intricate details of my custom labels and clothing tags, but I have also found much therapy in sewing my own custom label, emblems, and patches onto my apparel as well. I have even found ways to create wonderful key chains, and have added labels onto my "designer" pocketbooks as well. I am so thankful for my new friends, my custom label makers.
